There were two major reasons for the app update. The first was to provide an easier to navigate experience. The second is a revamp to the scheduler to allow for more flexibility between days.

Download the Frigidaire 2.0 App on your Apple or Android phone:

• Before use, you must reset your password in the Frigidaire 2.0 app
  • Note: When you reset, you can enter an existing or new password 
• Enjoy exploring your new Frigidaire 2.0 App
• When you’re ready, delete the older version 

NOTE: If you are an Android user, we recommend turning your unit on for 24 hours before you download the new app and connect. 

When you create an account within the Frigidaire 2.0 app and link your appliance to your home Wi-Fi, and follow the step-by-step instructions within the Frigidaire 2.0 app. To register your product, you will need your Model and Serial number, and date of purchase as shown on your receipt. You can register on-line by visiting Frigidaire.ca. You can also drop your product registration card in the mail.

Yes, if power is lost to the entire house, your router will be disconnected from the internet as well, thus disconnecting the connection to your appliance. The good news is that as soon as power is restored, the appliance should  re-connect and function normally without user intervention. This may take up to a minute. You may receive a “lost connection” notification in the Frigidaire 2.0 app.

• Download the Google Home app on your smart phone
• Open Google Home
• Using the microphone button from within the Google Home app, ask “Link my Frigidaire account to Google Home” and click the provided link.
• This should open a page in Google Home Explorer section of the app with a “Link” button and additionally there are options to bookmark, share, and search in the top right corner.
• Click the “Link” button and enter the Frigidaire credentials that you registered and use within your Frigidaire 2.0 App.
• You should now be able to use Google Assistant to control your appliance

First, you will want to tap any key on your appliance to wake it up.

If you had just held down the Wi-Fi connect button on your appliance for 5 seconds, the Wi-Fi LED light will start blinking. You’ll need to follow the instructions in the Frigidaire 2.0 app to connect your appliance to your Wi-Fi network.

If the appliance is added to your account already and you see Wi-Fi LED blinking, the appliance had lost connection, and please check your Wi-Fi.

If the appliance is added to your account, and all is working as intended, the Wi-Fi LED will be solid.

• Set up your appliance with recognizable name (NOTE: avoid using slang)
• After setting up Alexa, open Alexa App.
• Go to Smart Home
• Press “your smart home skills”, add and enable the Frigidaire skill
• Press “add devices” button. This should automatically detect the connected appliances.
• At this point, you should be able to give Alexa commands.

To get started, download the appropriate Frigidaire 2.0 app from the Apple App store or Google Play store. You can then create a new account using a valid email address and password of at least 6 characters and one number (no spaces). Once you have accessed the Frigidaire 2.0 app, press “Add Appliance” so you can be led through the connection steps.

The network signal from your Frigidaire connected appliance will not have browsing capability, so some phones may be hesitant to connect to it or alert you that it is not connected to the internet. This is normal and you should be able to move forward.

If the phone does not stay connected to the network, try checking your network settings for features like “Smart Network Switch”, “switch to mobile data” or “avoid weak networks”. If these features are active, they may impede the connection and should be temporarily turned off.

It’s pretty easy to use Google Home Assistant with your connected appliance. Here are some simple tips:

Example:  Window Room Air Conditioner named “Air Conditioner”

• Turn on: Ok Google, turn on Air Conditioner
• Turn off: Ok Google, turn off Air Conditioner
• Mode: Ok Google, set Air Conditioner to Eco Mode
• Temp: Ok Google, set Air Conditioner to 65 degrees
• Fan Speed: Ok Google, set Air Conditioner fan speed to high

Example: Dehumidifier named “Dehumidifier”

• Turn on: Ok Google, turn on Dehumidifier
• Turn off: Ok Google, turn off Dehumidifier
• Humidity setting: Ok Google, change the humidity of “Dehumidifier” to 35%
• Settings: Ok Google, change the humidity of “Dehumidifier” to continuous

Here are some recommended steps to try:

• Ensure the appliance is not too far from your home router
• Press and hold the Wi-Fi button for 10 seconds (you may hear beeping); then repeat steps to connect your appliance
• Ensure your Wi-Fi network is password protected. If your Wi-Fi network does not have a password, you will need to add a password to your Wi-Fi network
• Ensure your Wi-Fi password and name do not contain any of the following special characters: Quote (“), Forward Slash (/), Backslash (\), and Ampersand (&).

If using an Android^® device, your phone should have location services turned on and switch to mobile data turned off during the connection process. These settings can be reverted back once the connection steps are completed.

Ensure you are connecting to a 2.4 GHz network, rather than a 5 GHz network. Some dual-band or mesh networks may need to be manually switched to a 2.4 GHz network. Please contact your network provider if you are unsure of your network type.

Within the Frigidaire 2.0 app, select 'Scheduler' from the navigation options at the bottom of the app. To delete a scheduled event, select 'Delete' or the trashcan icon found in the upper right corner. Squares will then appear next to each Schedule card - select the Schedule you wish to delete and select the blue 'Delete' button found at the top of the app then confirm delete when prompted. If you would like to delete all scheduled events, select the check box at the top of the app and select the blue 'Delete' button.

As of November 1, we are pleased to announce the launch of the new and improved Frigidaire 2.0 app. Our 1.0 Frigidaire Smart App has been deactivated and you will need to onboard your Connected Home Comfort appliance(s) to the Frigidaire 2.0 app.

Here are some simple steps to complete the process:

• If you have an account with Frigidaire.com AND know your password, you only need to download the new Frigidaire 2.0 app.  You will log-on using your Frigidaire.com credentials and the appliance should appear in the app.
• If you do not have an account with Frigidaire.com, you will need to create a new account in the Frigidaire 2.0 app.
• If you don’t remember your password, you will need to reset your password through the Frigidaire 2.0 app.
• If you currently use a schedule or voice skill or action (Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant), after the app update, you will need to reset up the schedule and voice.

NOTE: If you are an Android user, we recommend turning your unit on for 24 hours before you download the new app and connect.

Simply follow the instructions in the email and click the links that apply to you. You should receive emails notifying you of the steps required for this action. Check your spam filter and add Frigidaire Appliances to your safe sender list if you aren’t seeing them. You can also follow the steps below.

It is recommended that you create a new account either on Frigidaire.ca or the mobile app; then reconnect your appliance.

Your Owner’s Manual provides helpful tips regarding care and cleaning for your range to include the exterior and interior components such as knobs, stainless steel, racks, door and cooktop, etc.

If your appliance has Smudge Proof Stainless Steel, use a soft cloth, clean with a mild dish detergent and water or a 50/50 solution of vinegar and water. Rinse with clean water, dry with a soft clean cloth. Do not use appliance cleaner, stainless steel cleaner or cleaner containing abrasives, chlorides, chlorine or ammonia. These cleaners may damage the finish.

There probably is simple solution to getting your Frigidaire Laundry Center running as it should.

Whether your unit was just installed or you have been using for a while, we recommend checking the following:

Ensure the power cord fits tightly in the wall outlet and you are getting power to your washer. If no power, check to ensure a house fuse isn’t blown or the circuit breaker tripped.

Your Frigidaire Laundry Center should be on its own circuit breaker and not shared with other outlets or appliances.

Check to make sure the water supply faucets are turned on.Make sure the unit is level.If everything checks out okay – let’s try these tips:

Check the lid. Make sure the washer lid and/or dryer door are closed – laundry center will not start if the lid or door is open. Press Start. Don’t forget to press the START/PAUSE button after making your selections. Load sensing.

With most Frigidaire Laundry Centers, the first 2 minutes of the cycle are spent sensing the size of the load so you may not hear the water filling right away. Water will start to enter the tub once the sensory cycle is complete. Cycle may be paused. If the cycle initially started but appears to have stopped, your washer may just be in a pause stage. This is perfectly normal, a pause will occur between the Wash and Spin cycles with an additional pause during the Soak cycle.

Air Fry is an oven feature that works like a countertop air fryer. Inside an air fryer oven, superheated air circulates around the food to provide crispy, golden results without all the oil that deep frying requires.   

Air fryer ovens like the Frigidaire Gallery 30” Front Control Induction Range With Air Fry eliminate the need for another countertop appliance by putting the same technology right in your oven.

If you change your home router or network information any time after connecting your connected appliance, you will need to do the “connection” process again with your Frigidaire 2.0 app and home router. You will use the same email address and password that you used during the initial setup.

NOTE: If you are using the same SSID and password, you shouldn’t need to change anything.

Before doing so, the connected appliance will need to be removed from the Frigidaire 2.0 app and taken through a Factory reset to clear the memory. To conduct the Factory reset, follow the steps listed below:

• Press and hold the Wi-Fi/Connect button for 10 seconds (you may hear beeping).
• Then unplug the appliance for 30 seconds
• After plugging back in, wait at least 60 seconds before attempting the “connection” process again.

Air Fry allows superheated air to circulate in the oven to provide crispy, golden results without all the oil that deep frying requires.

Use the Air Fry feature in your oven and save time and space on your kitchen counter. No need for a separate appliance on your counter! 

Use dark bakeware with little to no sides or try our ReadyCookTM Air Fry Tray to get the best results. The ReadyCookTM Air Fry Tray comes with an Air Fry basket and Oven Rack that allows for improved airflow for crispier results.

Don’t forget to place a baking sheet under the Air Fry Tray to catch any drippings. Air Fry feature is not available on all models.

Once you have loaded your washer and closed the lid, press the POWER button to turn on your appliance.

Then, turn the cycle selector in either direction to scroll to your desired cycle. In some models the indicator for your selected cycle will be illuminated. Based on the cycle selected, the estimated cycle time, wash temperature, soil level and options associated with the cycle chosen may also illuminate.

After making your selections, press START to begin.

In most models:

To change your cycle, settings or options once the load has started, you will need to press the POWER button before selecting new ones.

Simply turning the cycle selector will not change the selection. If changes are attempted after the cycle starts, the lights will flash and a signal will beep.
