First let me say I love Frigidaire products and the company as a whole. What happened to this particular washing machine? I'm dumbfounded.
Normal cycle is not enough water to cover a normal load (I'm 47 Years old I know what normal is) there is no water level sensor which is CRAZY so next wash I chose Max Fill, which is a total waste of water for a normal load. Bulky option is ninety minutes long. The agitator seems to just "swish" the clothes around with lackadaisical motion, which is probably why it cannot "grab" the clothes down to water level? There seems to be a lot of options to choose from but don't let that fool you in to believing this machine can do it all...it simply can't...

Fabric Softener cup doesnt work!!
I purchased this washer/dryer set about a month ago. First couple uses were just fine, but then after that, whenever I do a load of laundry, the fabric softener cup in the machine is filled passed the 'max' with water. I've tried to empty out the water and do another load to see if that fixes it but nope. I've made sure I'm using the correct detergent and softener (HE) so that shouldn't be the issue. I looked through the manual and nothing about the issue. I called the number on the manual and not much help at all.

I bought this washer after being recommended by my local sales rep. I first enjoyed the quietness of the machine but soon discovered that any load takes about an hour of washing! Then when I tried to wash just two throw blankets from my sofa the machine kept showing and error message for being unbalance even after opening and rearranging the load. Then when I attempted to wash just one blanket from my bed, the same thing happened, and even the drain and rinse cycle would not wring the water out of the blanket so I could just hang to dry. I will be calling the company to complain as well.

I have found a way to control the water level. I bought this washer a few days ago. I was disappointed that I didn't have control of the water level, the clothes just don't get wet enough, some stayed partially dry. I tried the max fill button which fills to the top, great but not for small loads. So then I selected max fill button and about half way full, I pushed that button off and after about a minute or so, the water stops filling. So now I can control the level but I need to be attentive to be sure to do it again on the rinse. Hope this helps others... [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Nice size for my home
Cleans clothes well. Although the top loader is difficult for short people to reach down into to remove clothes. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Washing Machine Cycles Need Customization Option
This set of machines came with my new home. I was thrilled to have a "Max Fill" option, but it is an option for only a few cycles, like Bulky & Heavy Duty. Many other cycles don't add enough water to cover the clothes! I just put in a medium load of new towels of a darker color, to be washed separately in cold water. I used the "Normal" cycle, which was a big mistake bc the water level did not cover even HALF of the towels. The machine apparently has no "sensing" mechanism for water level related to clothing level. (My last machine another brand DID.) This one seemed to lack a sensor that would tell it that there were several dry towels in 3 inches of water. I turned the power off and tried the "Bulky" cycle WITHOUT the "Max Fill" option, and when I went back to check on them, the washer had definitely "max filled" the tub, so that was a big waste of water! Manufacturers seem to program their machines to limit options that the owner would be able to better manage to ensure their clothes were getting the best treatment possible. I would LOVE to have a washing machine that would allow ME to select the cycle, wash time, water temperature, and water level. I can make better decisions about this than the machine because I know how many of what I put it in and I read the care instructions! Why not add one cycle ("Owner's Choice") that would allow owner-operators to tell it exactly how clothes should be treated? [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

We bought a new home last month and this washer came with the purchase. It's a quiet washer and has lots of settings. I like the size of the slots where you put any liquid products for the wash. I use liquid softener and pod detergent. Unfortunately, I don't like the fact that after the wash there is still softener in the retainer. I'm wondering if the softener is dripped down or if it's rinsed out for use but there is still a lot of softener left over so it makes me think it doesn't get rinsed out. Aside from this, I have no other complaints of the washer. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Leaking water and oil!
Bought the washing machine on 9.10.18. This evening on 10.17.18, my laundry room and utility room were soaked in water! My husband had to get our shop vac and many towels to clean the mess. We even had to tear up our vinyl tiles since there was water beneath them. My husband ran a test load to see what the issue was, the water is leaking from under the washer and there is also oil. I have to call for service in the morning since they are closed. I’m very disappointed, I have Frigidaire appliances in kitchen and they seem to be a good product. Not sure if Electrolux/Fridgidare can make this right?
I need a good reliable washing machine.
