Rated 5 out of 5 by from So Quiet! Love it! I purchased this about 3 weeks ago, but it was still cold so i waited to install! I just wanted something to help cool my Living room/dining room because it always seems to be a lil hotter than the rest of the house. Then Michigan and its weather, it warmed up very quick so i installed it. Worked great! Was so quiet! My brother had a different kind and to me it was super loud, so i was already a lil reserved, but nope, super quiet! Noticed a difference in cooling within the first 20 minutes! I had the air for the house off and just had this running to see how well it worked! Overall very happy! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Upset owner I bought this in June. I will admit we had a very long hot humid week when I first got it but. I have to run it set at 60 degrees and even then it only kept the temp to about 75 degrees. I had an older model 12,000 BTU window air conditioner for the past 10 or so years that did a much better job. Very disappointed in it not able to do a better job. During that period of time it never shut down day or night and I went with the larger so it would run easier. I was even told it would work better and save power. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Portable AC! This unit can push out a lot of cold air! It’s surprisingly quiet compared to a window unit we have. This sits in the living room and we can easily hear the TV over this AC on high. As far cooling 700sq ft? Ehh..MAYBE if it was one room that’s 700sq ft, but in reality it’s good enough for a larger room like a living room. We have ceiling fans and if you really want to cool off a room quick, put the fan on and this unit and it can cool down the room in minutes! Our living room (300sq ft) can get up to 78-80 on a really hot day and with this unit, plus the ceiling fan, it can cool it down to 72 in 20-30 mins! I highly recommend this unit because it cools a room quickly and that’s what you are looking for in a 14,000BTU AC. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simple to install & use We bought two of these about a month ago. There working great remote nice feature. we are Seniors & we decided to get these first being portable, 2nd window air units not good we had new windows put in a couple of years ago there's a piece across the bottom of window which we would have had someone do work for them to fit. These were our best option usually we don't get very hot weather or humid up on the mountain it mostly nice in the summer but this year we have had some hot day. we are very pleased with our purchase. Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not enough coverage as advertised I purchased this product about 2 months ago planning to cool my kitchen and one small bedroom during the hot and humid season in Tucson, Az. I bought the highest btu ac in order to cool at least 350 sq feet. I was not happy with the results. This ac only cooled one room minimally. By that I mean no lower than 85 degrees. Also, the outflow water tube filled a 3 gal bucket every 2 hours, when ac was set on high. It was difficult to be there to empty it, especially during the night. Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cools Great With Climate Change happening, there has been more and more heat waves happening and not having any form of AC was terrible. The portable AC unit is great, it cools the room nicely, I did buy it because it said it could cool up go 700 sqft which is about the size of my place. The room it’s placed in is the coolest one, with some coolness Throughout the rest of the apartment. The downside to this product, but it can probably be applied to most AC units is it’s power consumption. The electric bill averages to around $40-50 before this appliance, but after 4 days of leaving it on for about 12-14 hours between auto and just low-fan mode, the bill was projected to be $120 at the end of the billing cycle. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Job at a Great Price This unit wasn't even on our radar until we walked into Best Buy and saw the floor model. We turned it on and couldn't believe how quit it was. Looking it up on line we saw that it was designed for rooms of 700 sq. ft. which is what we have. It hasn't disappointed. It cools down our room well and with a minimum of noise and space. The online reviews said that it constantly needed to be drained, but I imagine those are in places with high humidity. Ours has been a dream. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Rated 1 out of 5 by from poor venting system could not find a larger window unit to fit my vinyl replacement windows,so went with issue is the venting system.the plastic window housing kept falling out of plastic window spacer both which are supplied. i had to fabricate a bracket to hold housing in place.since then hose falls out of taping that as well as connection to unit itself. as far as cooling i really need a larger size, but this gets me by considering size room its designed for. you really need to improve exhaust mounting design.
