How do I use Convection Roast?

Convection Roast is best for cooking tender cuts of beef, lamb, pork, and poultry. Use this mode when cooking speed is desired. Convection roasting gently browns the exterior and seals in the juices.

For Convection Roast:

Preheating is not necessary when roasting foods using Convect Roast.

Since Convect Roast cooks faster, reduce cook times by 25% from the recommended time on your recipe.

You will need to check your food at that time and determine if additional time is needed. It is recommended that you do not cover foods when dry roasting since this may prevent the meat from browning properly.

To set the oven for CONVECT ROAST:

  1. Place meat on roasting rack and place in oven.
  2. Turn the oven mode selector to CONVECT ROAST.
  3. Turn temperature selector to desired roasting temperature.

Please reference your Owner’s Manual for additional convection roasting tips and information. Convection Roast is not available on all models
