Air Fried Thai-Style Chicken Wings

Enjoy these crispy on the outside, tender on the inside wings using your Air Fry range!

    Thai Style Chicken Wings - Frigidaire Air Fry Range

     

    INSTRUCTIONS:

    1. Preheat oven to 400°F on Air Fry mode. Learn more about Air Fry.
    2. In a large bowl combine all of the sauce ingredients, whisk until combined. Pour half of the sauce into a small saucepan. With remaining sauce in the bowl toss chicken wings, coating all the wings evenly. Transfer wings to a tin foiled lined baking tray with a baking rack on top. Arrange wings evenly on top of the rack.

    3. Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown, turning tray halfway through baking.

    4. Meanwhile bring sauce to a boil on the stovetop over medium high heat and then reduce heat the medium low and let simmer until slightly thickened, approximately 5 minutes, transfer to a serving bowl.

    5. Remove chicken wings from the oven and plate, sprinkle over mint leaves. Serve with reduced sauce on the side for extra dipping and fresh mini cucumber spears.

INGREDIENTS:

  1. 3 lbs chicken wings, patted dry
  2. 1 package mini cucumbers, cut into spears
  3. ½ cup mint leaves, for garnish (optional) 
     

 

SAUCE INGREDIENTS:

  1. ¾ cup thai sweet chili sauce
  2. 1 tbsp brown sugar
  3. ¼ cup soy sauce
  4. ¼ cup rice wine vinegar
  5. 2 tbsp lime juice
  6. 1 tbsp lemongrass, finely sliced
  7. 2 tsp vegetable oil
